This was a great listen! I’ve literally never related to anyone as much as you two. I’m currently building a 1:53 working scale model of the current Big Thunder Mountain (Disneyland). @smallbigthundermountain I face all those same challenges, but love how many different art forms are involved. Engineering, sculpting, painting, designing, electrical, and on and on. I now have all 50′ of chain moving through my model, using 4 quadrants. (too much friction otherwise) Next will be getting the design of the cars with magnets right, so they make it the whole way.
Thank you! That project sounds fantastic.
